When we formed in the year 2000 it wasn’t exactly fashionable for a bunch of guys to get together and bond over a love of Free, Sabbath, Led Zep and AC/DC, but the result was a band playing the music it loved and delighted in cranking out an array of raw, beefy rock riffs!

Playing our first gig in November, 2002 we quickly established ourselves on the local pub scene and enjoyed frequent bookings at well known local hotspots such as: Bunters, Tyacks, Trickies, Wateringhole, Blue Bar, Oystercatcher, Sand Bar and Blue Anchor amongst others. With Wayne’s inimitable vocal topping of a sometimes ragged, but glorious racket – many a good raucous night out was had by our faithful followers.

Although we had the odd top-notch musician in the band, most nights we were just amazed we were getting away with it and that the crowd were up for it so much. This confidence and hard-work led us to stepping up a gear during 2004, into a life beyond the pubs and we gained the chance to play to much larger crowds at events such as Run to the Sun, Royal Cornwall Show, Falmouth Beer Festival, Falmouth Week and 2 appearances at the Martin Jennings Memorial Ride. We also established our annual charity gig at Camborne RFC, raising funds for cancer relief charities and other local causes.

Unfortunately this gave us little in the way of good karma or luck and after a particularly bad spat at one gig we lost our talismanic lead singer, Wayne. Although the band held together for the next 2 years the fun had long disappeared and age old divisions (familiar to all bands) started to rise; original material, too many line-up changes, chasing past glories led to slipping quality standards. One last rear-guard action in 2006 involving 3 personnel changes in the space of 6 months failed to halt the slide. So like most bands eventually do, we knew we had peaked and in February 2007 the decision was taken to pull the plug and stop the slide.

So after 1 year, 9 months, 2 weeks, 4 days and 2 broken speakers, we're finally back....now with Steve Jones on vocals (formerly with Loaded, Re-loaded, Unloaded and ' Out of Ammo') and Steve Towner (ex-Groundhogs, 4 Tons) the hiatus as brought a fresh injection of songs with a modern twist and we're aiming to get back to delivering our best. Watch this space......
