Personnel
Jonestown are now:
|
Brent
‘Col. Kilgore’ Treloar (Guitar)
|
|
The resident surfer in
the band, his love affair with music started with playing in a school ‘glam rock’ band in 1973, but
having failed to achieve any real degree of musical competency, all
aspirations in this area were put on hold until 1999, when a mid life
crisis inspired Jonestown. Now he has the multi task of organising the
band, checking the surf and getting both hands to synchronise on the
occasional guitar part. One day…! Most likely to say “Charlie
DOES surf!”.

Chris
‘Captain Sensible’ Cudlip ( Drums and Percussion)
|
|

|
The young man at the back!
Our talented skin basher, Chris has been playing for some years now,
although he’s still the baby of the group and one of the original
members. A skilled installation manager by trade, he’s also been
known to add the occasional drum fill with the same unnerving degree of accuracy. Well unnerving for the
band….! If Bonham wore a suit and drove a Ford….he would be
Chris!

Mark Fowler (Bass Guitar) |
|
Mark is welcomed back into the ranks of Jonestown after a long 3 year break. He's played in many bands over the years, such as Steamer, Anthem and Hindsight and is always a true professional . His Bass playing style is solid as a rock, the 'Mr Cool' of the band produces some thumping big sounds, his sly sense of humour is always on the agenda and he's usually up for a strawberry Bon Bon!

Stevie Towner (Lead Guitar) |
 |
Steve
began playing in bands soon after he left school and during his time at art college. He joined the legendary 'Groundhogs' in the 80's and toured throughout the UK and Germany, playing many famous venues along the way. He also played some god awful places, but usually to great audiences......... this man just loves to play " live music" and it does not get any better for him than when he's spanking his plank.....

Steve Jones (Vocals) |
|
Steve
the new frontman of the band has years of experience playing with such luminaries has Loaded and...uh, Loaded. He's well known amongst the West Cornwall music scene and a great vocalist who commands his stage with a rampant authority. After leaving Loaded, Steve took time out from the local music scene to work on his guitar and amp collection, his list of equipment is now quite scary to us....but apparently a joy for his Visa card company!
